How far in advance do I need to make a reservation? It depends; some spaces book up as much as one year in advance. (Note: spaces are not officially yours until the contract has been signed and received by LexArts).
Is parking available? There is street parking and there are pay parking lots in the areas around both facilities.
Is it necessary to put down a deposit? Yes, the deposit secures the reservation and is needed when the contract is signed. The nonrefundable deposit is 50% of the total rental amount.
When is the final payment due? 1 week prior to the event.
Do I need liability insurance and where can I obtain it? Yes. It may be obtained through the caterer or your personal insurance company.
Do you allow alcohol in your facilities? Yes, but you will need to obtain liquor liability insurance through the caterer or your personal insurance company.
Am I restricted to a specific caterer or bartender? No, you are free to hire the caterer or bartender of your choice. A list of recommended caterers is available.
Do you allow smoking in the facilities? No, but there are smoking areas located outside each facility.
Do you offer technical staff to run audio/video/lights? Staff is available for technical services. Additional charges apply.
How do I become a LexArts Member? Non-profit arts organizations or civic/community organizations may apply for membership.
