What arts opportunities are available
in Lexington for my children?

Many LexArts' member groups offer programming specifically geared for children. From classical music concerts to ballet classes to arts and crafts workshops, opportunities to expose your family to the arts abound. The groups listed below are currently offering programs for children. Please call them individually for more information. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, give us a call and we will be happy to help.

Can I hold an event at a LexArts-managed facility?
Yes! LexArts manages ArtsPlace at 161 N. Mill Street and the Downtown Arts Center at 141 E. Main Street. Both buildings offer a variety of venues for your wedding, private party, or meeting. LexArts staff members are delighted to show visitors the various spaces and discuss rental rates. Are internships available through LexArts?
LexArts does offer a limited number of internships for students of all ages. We are happy to curtail internship responsibilities to the student’s individual needs, interests, and schedules. Generally, the internships are unpaid and responsibilities can vary from special event planning to technical production to marketing to fundraising.
