DESCRIPTION:Join the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras for an exciting day of music at the CKYO Teen Arts Concert, showcasing the talent, dedication, and artistry of our middle- and high-school musicians.\nThe Teen Arts Concert features three performances throughout the day, highlighting CKYO’s orchestral and jazz ensembles and a wide range of musical styles—from classical masterworks to jazz favorites.\nConcert I – 3:00pmBravo String Orchestra and Concert Orchestra, featuring a special collaborative performance with students from The Lexington Theatre Company.\nConcert II – 5:00pmJazz Repertory Orchestra and Jazz Arts Orchestra in a high-energy program celebrating jazz and contemporary styles.\nConcert III – 7:00pmRepertory Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra, featuring CKYO’s three Concerto Competition winners performing as soloists with the Symphony Orchestra.\nEach performance is approximately 45–75 minutes, and one ticket grants access to all three concerts throughout the day.
