High above the city in a hidden treehouse lives Mira, a quiet, watchful child who notices what others have forgotten. Below her, a once-vibrant community is slowly consumed by the Thieves: elegant yet ominous figures who steal not gold, but time, creativity, and spirit, leaving people efficient, hurried, and hollow.\nAs the world teeters on the edge of forgetting itself, three luminous guardians appear: Hora, Keeper of Time; Musa, Guardian of Creativity; and Alma, Protector of the Spirit. Together with Mira, they awaken the power of presence. Through play, imagination, and human connection, the city begins to breathe again. The Thieves are not defeated by force, but dissolved through awareness.\nAt once tender and urgent, Mira and the Thieves is a contemporary fairy tale told through movement, light, and music, inviting audiences of all ages to slow down, look closer, and rediscover what it means to live fully and intentionally.\nThe production carries a timely mental health message, exploring the impact of distraction in the modern world and the restorative power of presence and community connection.\nDuration: 1 hr\nMission: Bluegrass Youth Ballet engages and inspires youth through the art of dance and throughout the community. \n
