The Lexington Youth Arts Council (YAC) is a group for Fayette County students (ages 14–18) who want to make a difference in the arts. It’s open to everyone—public, private, and homeschool students.
As a member, you’ll:
- Work with LexArts and FCPS staff to create youth-focused arts programs and events
- Build leadership and teamwork skills through hands-on projects
- Share your ideas to help shape the arts in Lexington
The group meets every other week at the FCPS Downtown Office. Whether you’re into visual art, music, theater, dance, or writing, YAC is a place to connect with other creative students, make your voice heard, and help shape the future of the arts in your community.
