Film Documentary: Driving While Black: Race, Space and Mobility in America

As part of Lexington, KY’s Annual Roots & Heritage Festival, come to The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center to view one of the two showings of this enlightening documentary. Discover how the advent of the automobile brought new mobility and freedom for African Americans but also exposed them to discrimination and deadly violence, and how that history resonates today.
