ARTIST STUDIOS AND OFFICE SPACE
We offer “space to create,” deeply-discounted studio, rehearsal and office space in our creatively vibrant LexArts headquarters. Our Space to Create is currently at capacity. Please contact Skylar Scott for more information, to be added to a wait list, or to schedule a site visit.

PUBLIC AND PRIVATE EVENTS
For weddings, private parties or meetings we have three unique spaces, the LexArts Great Room that is “designed to be designed,” the LexArts Gallery one of Lexington’s premiere visual art galleries, and the LexArts Exec which is ideal for meetings and conferences. All are within our fabulous Beaux Arts building, located in the heart of downtown on the corner of Mill and Church. We are mere steps from historic Gratz Park and within walking distance of many hotels and attractions, including Lexington’s bustling Short Street restaurant and entertainment district. Wedding Packages

Silver Package

$3,100 + $250 Refundable Deposit

  • Use of the space from 9am – 12am the day of the wedding
  • Includes use of furniture, chairs, and tables

Gold Package

$3,500 + $250 Refundable Deposit

  • Use of the space from 9am – 12am the day of the wedding
  • 4 hours of set up the day before OR 4 hours of break down time the day after
  • Includes use of furniture, chairs, and tables

Platinum Package

$3,900 + $250 Refundable Deposit

  • Use of the space from 9am – 12am the day of the wedding
  • 4 hours of set up the day before AND 4 hours of break down time the day after
  • Includes use of furniture, chairs, and tables

Studio Spaces

2A/3A

Studio rates are halved for arts organizations/nonprofits.

  • $60/hour (after 5pm Monday through Saturday and all-day Sunday)
  • $40/hour (before 5pm Monday through Saturday)

2B/3B

Studio rates are halved for arts organizations/nonprofits.

  • $50/hour (after 5pm Monday through Saturday and all-day Sunday)
  • $30/hour (before 5pm Monday through Saturday)

LexArts Offers Space-to-Create Grants

Space-To-Create grants provide in-kind funding support to artists and arts organizations whose artwork or art experiences are in need of a space. We offer office or practice spaces at affordable rental rates well below market cost. We currently provide office spaces for the Lexington Philharmonic, Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras, Project Ricochet, and more!
