A Canvas of Silks

Over 50 locally made jockey silks forms, each hand-painted by a Kentucky artist, will stand on display downtown beginning October 8 through the Breeders’ Cup and featured at the Lexington Breeders’ Cup Festival.

This public showcase will transform the lawn of the Historic Lexington Courthouse into an outdoor gallery celebrating the artistry of the Bluegrass and its horse racing heritage.

During the public display, make a bid to own a piece of this unique exhibit. Final bidding will happen at an auction in November to benefit LexArts’ mission with more details coming soon!
