“Abolition…Amen!” A Kentucky Chautauqua Performance of John G. Fee

Obadiah Ewing-Roush brings abolitionist Rev. John G. Fee to life in this Kentucky Chautauqua theatrical performance. Raised in a slave-holding family, Fee committed his life to ending slavery in Kentucky despite his father’s disapproval, financial hardship, and threats to his safety. His work led to the founding of the anti-slavery Union Church of Christ and, eventually, Berea College.
