Mullberry & Lime
Exhibit Title
Mark Dildilian
Exhibit Description
Mark Dildilian is, as we say, a late comer to the art scene in Lexington. Mark has had a focus on art since he was a boy growing up in Birmingham, Michigan. At a young age he respected art as his family had many career successes within the field. As a youngster, he attended many summer classes at Cranbrook Art Institute. In 1972 Mr. Dildilian won a national painting contest and along with 49 other paintings went on to have them exhibited at the Smithsonian. Mark had a successful and very creative marketing career with Ford Motor Co., Toyota, and Lexmark International. During Mr. Dildilian’s career he did dabble in art and respected the solitude that was afforded to him. In 2019 Mark returned to his passion of painting due to an automobile accident in 2018. After surgeries, PT and other issues, Mark now focuses on art a means to better communicate, express vision, thoughts, and a way to bring “inquisitive happiness” to an audience. Enjoy his new show Object Permanence.
