CKYO 78th Season Finale Concert

Join CKYO for our 78th Season Finale Concert to culminate a wonderful year of music for our young musicians. The evening will feature the CKYO Friends in Music strings alongside their high school mentors and the Symphony Orchestra winds, brass, and percussion. Then join Symphony Orchestra under the direction of CKYO music director and conductor Marcello Cormio for a thrilling performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet” and Saint-Saens “Bacchanale” from his opera “Samson and Delilah.”

Finally, our evening concludes with our CKYO tradition of sending our Senior Class off after their final CKYO bow. They will perform the the final movement of Haydn’s “Farewell Symphony” as a way to bid “farewell” to their high school orchestra career with CKYO.
