Most arts organizations could not operate without the assistance of generous volunteers like you. Your time, energy, and valuable skills help to keep costs low, ensuring that more money is put back into the community towards quality performances and events.
By donating time and/or providing in-kind professional services, each dollar raised for the arts will stretch, further enriching the quality of life in our community. LexArts is committed to growing the local volunteer base and connecting these individuals with arts organizations in central Kentucky. Volunteer Opportunities
LexArts Hop Volunteer
Help with Hop prep by setting up artwork, distributing brochures, and sneaking a peek at new Hop exhibitions. Some lifting may be involved. Expect to invest 4 hrs one week prior to Hop and the day of. Be a Hop meeter-and-greeter, mix, mingle, serve refreshments and conduct surveys.
LexArts Business Volunteer
LexArts recruits and trains experienced business professionals to assist nonprofit arts organizations as pro bono project consultants. The art organization benefits from professional advice on specific business challenges, and the volunteer can sharpen skills, gain leadership experience, network, and engage with the arts. We are currently recruiting.
