On the third Friday of every other month, downtown Lexington is the place to be. That’s the night of the LexArts HOP, eagerly anticipated, enthusiastically attended, a choose-your-own-adventure event designed to put you in the rooms with a stimulating cross-section of local visual art.

The LexArts Gallery at ArtsPlace is a great place to find local art all year long. Hailed as one of the city’s premier visual arts galleries, our annual series of exhibitions showcases cutting-edge work in multiple genres and mediums, thanks to the generous support of PNC, sponsor of PNC presents the LexArts Gallery Series.

The arts’ impacts on health and well-being can be seen at all stages of life. From early childhood through adolescence and youth, arts education can support the social and emotional needs of students, helping them better cope with their feelings, bounce back from adversity, and show tolerance and compassion for others.

How do you celebrate when you are the Horse Capitol of the World? With a horse of course! Or when you are LexArts, the arts and cultural council for Lexington, Kentucky, you celebrate with gusto, creatively, and with lots of horses, placed where people of all ages can enjoy them.

An Arty Party is not just about a fabulous time, it’s one of LexArts’ most effective and engaging fundraising initiatives.  Hosts cover all party expenses and 100% of ticket revenue goes to support LexArtsa and the Lexington arts community.
