Intro to wood-turning with Chad Eames

In this class we will discuss the lathe, lathe safety, and basic woodturning tools, as well as wood selection for different types of turning projects.

With the guidance of instructor Chad Eames, the class will practice the basic cuts for both spindle turning and bowl turning. Participants will leave with practical knowledge of lathe operation, how to hold wood securely on the lathe, basic tool usage, and a better understanding of the fundamental concepts of woodturning.
