Exhibit Description
Join us FRI night in Lex for refreshments during Gallery HOP 4:30-8:30 & meet the Artists during our opening reception for "Contemplative Coils - 3 Generations of Basket Makers", featuring the Artists: Linda Lane, Michelle Lane and Alyssum Pohl A Lexington mother and daughter-in-law team, plus one of their students, bring us hand-coiled baskets of elaborate design patterns and complex stitching, made from a variety of materials including endangered long leaf pine needles, sea grass, and iris leaves. The exhibition will also feature select floral arrangements by Ikebana Master Brooke Pohl. Located at the corner of Mill & Maxwell Streets, we have FREE PARKING and are only a 2-block walk to the heart of downtown and many other galleries. If you can't attend Friday night, visit us during our regular open hours on Sat & Sun 12-3pm through Oct 20th, or our Virtual Gallery Tour at MillAndMaxGallery.com.
