MILL & MAX Arts Space at Lexington Shambhala Meditation Center
Exhibit Title
Pen, Brush, Stick – paintings by Margie Miller Rigney & Nancy Z. Hall
Exhibit Description
Join us FRI night in Lex for refreshments during Gallery HOP 4:30-8:30 & meet the Artists during our opening reception for "Pen, Brush, Stick". Two local artists, fluent in a variety of media and styles, present paintings inspired by Kentucky’s natural riches. Often mixing mediums into individual pieces, Margie M. Rigney works in India ink, oil paints, pastels and acrylics. Since discovering her passion for pastels over 40 years ago, Nancy Z. Hall has refined her craft into a unique multi-layered method on sanded paper.
The exhibition will also feature select floral arrangements by Ikebana Master Brooke Pohl.
Located at the corner of Mill & Maxwell Streets inside the Shambhala Center at 305 W. Maxwell, we have FREE PARKING and are only a 2-block walk to the heart of downtown and many other galleries.
If you can't attend Friday night, visit us during our regular open hours on Sat & Sun 12-3pm through Dec 15, or our Virtual Gallery Tour at MillAndMaxGallery.com.
UPDATE: We are also offering to the public aGlass Painting workshop taught by our artist, Margie Rigney! Details and registration info at MillAndMaxGallery.com
