Ballet on the Bluegrass
Everything is beautiful at the ballet… especially when it is performed under the open skies with a backdrop of the lush bluegrass. This enchanting event, to be held at Marta Hayne’s bucolic farm, is the perfect pas de deux between nature and dance. Imagine the late afternoon sun casting a golden glow over the graceful dancers of Lexington Ballet and the African American Ballet Troupe as they leap and twirl through the first breeze of the eve. Delight in dance while you enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at this graceful gala. Guests will also be invited to paint en plein air with instruction by Debbie Westerfield.
