CKYO Teen Arts Festival
Join the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras for an exciting day of music at the CKYO Teen Arts Concert, showcasing the talent, dedication, and artistry of our middle- and high-school musicians.
The Teen Arts Concert features three performances throughout the day, highlighting CKYO’s orchestral and jazz ensembles and a wide range of musical styles—from classical masterworks to jazz favorites.
Concert I – 3:00pm
Bravo String Orchestra and Concert Orchestra, featuring a special collaborative performance with students from The Lexington Theatre Company.
Concert II – 5:00pm
Jazz Repertory Orchestra and Jazz Arts Orchestra in a high-energy program celebrating jazz and contemporary styles.
Concert III – 7:00pm
Repertory Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra, featuring CKYO’s three Concerto Competition winners performing as soloists with the Symphony Orchestra.
Each performance is approximately 45–75 minutes, and one ticket grants access to all three concerts throughout the day. Whether you attend one performance or stay for them all, the CKYO Teen Arts Concert offers an inspiring celebration of youth music-making and the vibrant arts community of Central Kentucky.
