Kentucky Book Festival

A program of Kentucky Humanities, the Kentucky Book Festival is the largest book festival in the Commonwealth. It brings together a community of readers and writers with something for the entire family. Be one of the approximately 3,000 people expected to attend the free event, which will feature 150 authors, including more than 20 children’s authors.

The Kentucky Book Festival is an all-ages event. Visit the children’s tent, which offers fun activities for the next generation of readers. Children 12 and under can receive a voucher for a free book of their choice! Children’s activities include: Storytimes, Illustrating Workshops, Magician, Face painting and more.

This year, the Kentucky Book Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington. For more information, visit
