Kentucky Book Festival

A celebration of all things Bookish in the Bluegrass, the Kentucky Book Festival is the largest literary gathering in the region, attracting thousands of booklovers and hundreds of authors to Lexington each fall for a one-of-a-kind experience. The 2022 festival will occur on Saturday, October 29 at Joseph-Beth Booksellers and will feature bestselling authors from Kentucky and across the U.S. who’ll sign books, participate in panels or keynote conversations, and much more. With family-friendly activities and plenty of great places to eat and shop in surrounding venues at Lexington Green, plan to come on out and spend the day with us as we celebrate the magic of books! Full schedule coming this August. Check kybookfestival.org for all the latest updates, as well as information about events planned October 27-28. The Kentucky Book Festival is a program of Kentucky Humanities, where we’ve been “Telling Kentucky’s Story” for 50 years.
