The Artists’ Attic will feature works by the Plein Air Painters of the Bluegrass in our main gallery November 11-December 31, 2021. The Plein Air Painters of the Bluegrass is a group of Central Kentucky artists who paint outdoors. The group was formed in 2005 and host three or four "paint-outs" each month from April to October. Each year the group organizes a members show and sale of artworks: primarily landscapes and cityscapes. In addition, they host prominent guest professional artists for workshops and demonstrations attended by members. For over 30 years, Artists’ Attic has been home to Lexington’s largest group of actively working artist studios. You can visit our galleries, meet our 22 resident artists, watch them create, and purchase original art. We rotate exhibits on a regular basis, so visit often.
